IBA & MGT Students in International HRM

In early August 2017, the 5th semester IBA & MGT students were requested to analyze cases about Low Cost Carriers, McDonald’s/KFC in China and the Singaporean-based The Hour Glass using the perspective of Value-Based Management. To continue equipping students with analytical thinking, students were asked to further evaluate those case studies using the perspective of International Human Resources Management, particularly on the potential difficulties of managing diverse people inside multinational firms.

On Tuesday afternoon, September 5, 2017, one group was nominated to present a case study on the Low Cost Carrier to  Dr. Samuel Prasetya, as the facilitator. Prior to the presentation, students had the opportunity to consult Mr. Zairil, MM for his insights. Happily, other group members were actively contributing and participating, so this added to the lively discussion about the case (SaP/MiE).
