31 July 2017 – Whidhi Gilang Satria, Muhammad Rizky Usman and Che Ghivara Moza, IULI Biomedical Engineering students, joined the initial meeting for the IMTBI (Ikatan Mahasiswa Teknik Biomedis Indonesia). The meeting was held for 2 days on 28 – 29 July 2017, at the Institut Teknologi Bandung with participants from International University Liaison Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, Universitas Airlangga, Swiss German University and the host, Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Whidhi Gilang Satria reported “I signed the letter of validation along with 4 other universities. It seems that IULI BME will have a lot of work to do.” The result of the meeting was the agreement on a vision and mission for the Ikatan Mahasiswa Nasional Teknik Biomedis Indonesia and the formation of teams to organize the new body.
