On 15 February 2016, fourteen 2nd semester students of Hotel and Tourism Management participated in housekeeping practical training at Hotel Santika Premiere ICE, BSD City. They were all excited about this weekly training program which will last for 14 weeks. The 4-star hotel, located near IULI campus, was chosen due to the excellent facilities provided.
Housekeeping (theoretical as well as practical) is one of the course subjects in the Hotel and Tourism Management curricula, to give them ample tools on housekeeping “skills and crafts” prior to embarking on an internship placement program in starred hotels during the 3rd semester.
IULI believe that the training program will provide the students with valuable experience for their future careers.
