Towards the start of the new academic semester in July 2015, IULI started the “Basic Math for Engineering” course on 11 May 2015. More than 50 students, divided into two classes, enthusiastically joined the course.
This special program will end on May 21st 2015 and is dedicated for all IULI engineering students. “Basic Math for Engineering” is one of IULI’s enrichment programs to best prepare student for their study programs.
The goal of this course is to provide high school students and college freshmen with a broad introduction to the fundamental mathematical techniques and mathematical objects. The course builds on the foundations laid in secondary school mathematics and, in turn, aims to lay the foundation for more advanced studies in mathematics undertaken in the first semester and beyond.
In addition to the course for Engineering students, IULI is going to conduct a “Basic Math for Business” course which is for students in the faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The course will start on 25 May 2015 and end on 29 May 2015.
