The intention to move and/or switching job may have been considered a normal routine activitiy for employees. However, from the stand-point of organizations, such an intention should be regarded as challenges and opportunities to evaluate the internal factors, which may have triggered the employees’ intentions.
This article attempts to perform the investigation on the underlying factors, which may have pushed for the emerging thoughts on employees’ intention to move and/or switch jobs. At this time, this paper seeks to analyze the inter-connectedness among several factors, such as; employee engagement, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), social architecture, and organizational commitments. It is expected that the qualitative investigation may reveal the solid foundation that organizations may have to emphasized to minimize the creation of intention to move on employees.
